If you really want to learn to play guitar, you also need a simple thing, before doing anything else. They must learn how learning takes place between the muscles and brain. If you understand the process by the brain to the muscles of your practice sessions will have to go as expected, producing effective results train.

You probably have heard the term muscle memory. This is the process of the brain learning and storing a set of detailed instructions for each group of muscles requiredfor every small task that you want to make your fingers on the guitar. When muscle memory is well established, it will act in a naturally effortless and almost unconsciously, to play the guitar.

These tasks need to speeds that are slow enough so that you can consistently implement them are perfectly trained. If you practice the guitar at a pace that many errors that you include at the end of teaching your muscles how the exercise produces play with the errors. UnfortunatelyMuscles can not distinguish between playing with bugs, and without playing it.

Here are 12 tips for the practice sessions, which will support the development of good muscle memory:

    1. Prepare your whole body for the workout.

Practice while relaxed. How to start a pilot control of the aircraft prior to departure, you should check your body for any tension, stiffness, tightness, pain or discomfort. Tense muscles can close that during exerciseseriously limit the full range of motion needed to master the guitar. Even tension in the shoulders can travel to the arms and then eventually to the fingers. Stretch and warm your entire body before playing in order to stay loose. Begin practicing with slow, easy exercises to prepare your hands for more demanding new material.

    2. Practice in a quiet, comfortable place where you are unlikely to be disturbed.

    3. Commit to a specific time each day for practice.

Begin each day plan with a firm commitment to a practice that the specific details about when, where and what to play.

    4. Keep your workouts short, frequent and very specific.

It is more efficient, the 20 minutes of daily practice as two or three hours practice once a week.

    5. Always practice with a metronome.

Let me repeat. Always practice with a metronome. It is surprising how often even good guitarists of this rule. Training yourself to play a consistentPace will make your music sound professional. This is valuable whether you plan to only play with friends at a party or in a stadium full of screaming fans.

    6. Tune the guitar before each practice.

    7. Determine your optimum practice speeds.

For each part of a scale, the exercise or song find the fastest metronome speed that you can play without any mistakes. Practice, it is for a day at 25% to 30% of the maximum speed. Follow this with one days then at 50% of the maximum one day75%. On the fourth day of practice at your old speed. You may be pleasantly surprised that you have a new, faster speed. Be warned that this routine may be incredibly slow, but hang there, because it will really pay off.

    8. Do not try to learn too many different things at each workout.

Practice, only small parts of an exercise or song at a time. Working on a completely new song, all in a setting that makes it more difficult for your brainto cement solid muscle memories. Can not handle exactly like a newborn baby a whole meal solid food, we need only a few, small musical spoonfuls at a time of practice.

    9. The work on the problem parts not only what you already know.

That sounds very clear, but there is a tendency for new guitarists to play easy parts over and over while continuing to stumble over the problem spots.

    10. Spend the first ten minutes warming up, then divide the remaining timeequally between new tasks and new songs.

    11. Take time just goof around with the guitar.

Be sure to inject a healthy dose of fun in every workout. If you've used blues scales, then why not on some jam tracks, or even your favorite blues Insert the CD and try to improvise a solo. Select your favorite song to work at the end of each workout.

    12. If you intend to run in front of people

Perfect your songs in private practice, thenPlay in front of sympathetic friends and family members. Create a practice environment that is as close to the conditions of the upcoming performance as possible. If you do then standing practice that. Say you take your friendly practice audience the freedom to talk and laugh at him during your practice. This will help you learn in a concert disturbing environment comfortable. Consider the record of your training sessions with a simple home video camera on aTripod.

Premiere nervousness you can shake off your game, no matter how good the material. If you repeatedly practiced playing in simulated concert environments then the real deal is a breeze.

The bottom line: To play well, you have to see how your body is programmed to then learn that there are free training sessions design.

Over a period of several years, I watched my mother to lose touch with life. Finally she succumbed to Alzheimer's, but it was many years ago that I noticed that she hardly ever reached the outside in their lives. When I was a child, she had few friends, spent the balance of their lives in the house, cleaning, and had little interest in reading, or theater, people or even to current affairs. They hardly read a book, only the administration to flip through the odd magazine. She found to interfere with a simple discussionand refused to fight with something harder than that, what to cook that evening.

My mother was very beautiful and had an effect upon the other sex. When she was forced to accompany my stepfather to work events, they dressed well and seemed to enjoy it – but I was surprised. She loved it, the focus of attention and playing up to every man who came within earshot, embarrassed us all by their physical reaction to men. Dad was proud of her, but he also had a bit of cunning, ifShe moved to 'over the top "mode.

In the fifties, when she felt she lost her looks, she did not go, unless someone really existed. I tried to go to the theater with me, but she could not concentrate and often spent more time around them than on the stage. Your reaction to whatever the show was still work to be the same: "This must be very hard, dear," she said.

Even when I insisted they come and see a show my son and I have written aboutHave relationships between mothers and daughters, something to make them want to look at himself, was the reaction of normal. She just did not get it.

Died in the sixties, as a father, she became more withdrawn and it was clear that it made a mistake. When she died in her late nineties she could remember nothing of what she had been.

That has not happened to me. I make myself go, even on those days when I feel antisocial. I am a member of severalAmateur performance groups, with the organizer and artistic director of one, and an enthusiastic and active member of the other two. I'm still teaching piano and a drama at the local theater school and have a small band that played at barn dances.

In 2009, I will learn Spanish – Latin American version, so I can do things, and South America to visit for me. I read books and try to deal with new skills all the time.

I know this is the way to stayactive and thinking. And I am sure that is the thinking of the answer. If I make my brain stretching and implement new stuff in it, I will not lose touch with her. I am determined that I will be in full possession of my powers when I get 100, and later. There is no need for me to give up everything I like to do, just because I was in my sixties.

I really think that the way to be, so I would not go. More, not less, is what is needed to more actively and creatively in thesecond half of my adult life.

And I'm almost ready to begin my book. I waited until I thought I had enough life experience to write about him. I am very nearly there. In the meantime, I am writing this piece to practice to improve my skills. Do Oh, and there are houses, dolls' also, and the accordion on ….. and the granddaughters of the practice of teaching things, and oh, do not ask me to make a finite list, I know only that this wonderful thing life is worthhanging on to. I'm healthy, fit and not ready to slow down yet. There are many people like me. Let's band together and change the world. It's never too late to start.

In my previous writings I spoke about my Myrtle Beach and Disney World Golf, which are two excellent choice for golf and holiday destinations, no two ways about it. I was alternately in both places for about ten years and had some great times, but we were ready for a change, for something else. Where would we go? I've always wanted in Las Vegas since my first visit there back in 1976, but just never had the opportunity. I had stopped in Las VegasThree days after my return home from my honeymoon to Hawaii, my favorite place on the planet, met some friends there and had a blast.

In 2002, see 50 was Birthday fast approaching, and my girlfriend surprised me with a gift that I do not expect a four-day golf trip to Las Vegas. Can it even better? I think maybe five or six days journey would be better, but they wanted to make sure we do not go broke while we were there, four days was a good compromise. We lived inMGM at Las Vegas Blvd., Better known as "The Strip", where most of the most famous hotels have been targeted in the city. From Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur and New York, New York on one end to Circus Circus, Riviera, Sahara, and The Stratosphere on the other side, and The Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Paris and Bally's in between like you could go wrong?

Then there was the Gulf. After considering the available courses, we chose three venues, which we enjoyed very much. WePlayed Bears Best, a Jack Nicklaus design and is my favorite player of all time, as some of you may remember from an earlier letter, Angel Park, an Arnold Palmer design, and other magnificent golf venue, which includes three courses, The Mountain is my favorite, and last but not least, Bali Hai, the adjacent Mandalay Bay, right on the Strip. Jack's "Best Bear was obviously designed by the use of the signature hole layouts for some of his other outstanding achievements Golf Courseto date, and they reproduce in Las Vegas landscape. The green fairways, in contrast to the desert, mountains and sand dunes in the background was a breathtaking site, especially if you've never been in the desert. Angel Park was very pleasant and it was a great view of the golf course and a real green mini-golf course (the only one I'd ever seen) the right of the dining patio and clubhouse. It was a great setting for lunch, we took in the magnificent panoramaview. Bali Hai was as exotic as the name exudes. With well-established over two thousand palm trees on the course designers, and many thousands of various other forms of exotic plants, which has complemented by the beautiful white sand bunkers, there is a hint of the tropical South Pacific to the desert, a unique and fun innovation, to say the least expression. After 36-hole golf course on Bali Hai, my birthday dinner was a real treat. Dinner in the elegant, Wolfgang Puck, "Cili" restaurant is located directly on thePremises, in the clubhouse, at the Bali Hai golf course. The design and ambience of the restaurant and clubhouse was a continuation of the tropical theme appears so open on the golf course. Good food, good wine, dessert and espresso with a touch of Sambuca to top off the meal, which was some live piano music recorded in the background so to speak, the icing on my birthday cake.

After our dining experience at Cili's we went to the casinos. New York City isknown as "The City That Never Sleeps", but Las Vegas is the literal embodiment of the phrase. We walked from one end of the Strip to the other halt to almost all known casino in the city and all the joints were hopping no matter what time we went to New York, New York, MGM, The Bellagio, Caesars, Bally's and Paris were our Favorite stops. I've actually a couple of Grand At The Bellagio, there were again at the Paris, but you only live once (or do you? – A topic foranother time), it should be fun in the foreground. It's only money. As you interact with the casino atmosphere and the lack of daylight and get into a hot run on the blackjack or craps tables are in love, it's very easy to implement, day and night. The hours pass quickly, and I see many people that night at 5.00 or 6.00 clock Clock and breakfast at 10:00 or midnight for that matter. Since we play golf, we usually went to bed at midnight and were on the road, and 5.00-clock or so the next morning, that is, if we found a variety of eating habits of ordinary players and night-time crowd.

As we walked Las Vegas Strip, I could almost feel the presence of some of the larger than life personalities who visited Las Vegas in the 50's, 60's and 70's – Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy and the rest of the Rat Pack, a name few. I was particularly reminded of Frank, because Frank Jrs. "Sceeen face was plastered on the big screen and he sang all his hits and fathersactually quite a good job of leave it there. Wayne Newton's life in Las Vegas was and is still as popular as ever. Las Vegas is perhaps the greatest line-up of first-class entertainment in the world. Wayne Newton, Barbra Streisand, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Celine Dion, Tony Bennett and The Blue Man Group and the first class magic acts and more, all talk in Las Vegas. The list of famous Las Vegas personalities from the golden age would not be possible without mentioning, including the completePerhaps the best known and most adored entertainers of all time, Mr. Las Vegas himself, the true "King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley." His name is with the hierarchy of Las Vegas Royalty synonym for it not to him as the king for nothing. The list goes on and on, but only check online whether you are planning a visit, and be a dozen or more shows up, note valued at a certain point, you can choose to plan a trip there. On our next evening we walked the entire strip again (also known asLas Vegas Boulevard) from Mandalay Bay and finishing at the Sratosphere. We stopped in at least half a dozen casinos, including MGM, New York, New York, Paris, Ballys and The Bellagio. The light was incredible and the water-light show in front of the Bellagio was very pleasant and entertaining. Furthermore, I stopped by the casinos for a while and saved my dough, which has spent the time there that much more rewarding.

We revisited Las Vegas about four months later andWe have some great deals on golf and hotel rooms. I think they thought they were the prices for those who are crazy enough less to play golf in 114 degree temperatures. It was hard, I must say, but we played and still had a good time to wet washcloth and all. It was another wonderful vacation under our belt and it just keeps getting better. If you are interested in Las Vegas for your next trip, I can guarantee you will not be bored. It is truly the "City That Never Sleeps". You can see some greatPackages available, both for golf or just stay and play at the resorts. Las Vegas is truly the ultimate playground for the amount over 21. Happy vacationing and golfing To All!
